Ahmed Soliman is a Research Scholar at the Institute for Sustainable Prosperity and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Denison University. His research interests are in the broad area of environmental engineering and sustainable energy. Prior to joining Denison, Ahmed was a Visiting Associate Professor at the Center of Environmental Science and Technology at SUNY Cobleskill. He also held two post doctoral positions, one at Cornell University in the Department of Physics and one at Purdue University in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Ahmed’s research experience expands in different fields ranging from researching substitutes for fossil fuel as a source of alternative energy in upstate New York, studying urban air quality near highways in Indiana, to developing high-performance crystallization plates for biological applications. Ahmed Soliman holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Ain Shams University in Cairo, M.S. in Physics from the University of Denver, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University.
