Alex Williams

Alex Williams is Research Fellow at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity, a graduate student at the Levy Economics Institute of Bard College, and a working music librarian and recordist. Alex is currently researching policy options for mitigating the procyclicality of state and local government budgets at the Levy Institute. His forthcoming thesis on this topic has been showcased in a Levy Policy Note. He produces the Modern Money Network – Humanities Division podcast “Money on the Left.” He is currently collaborating on a book that explores options pricing as the basis for a universal grammar of monetary production and framework for modal metaphysics. He has engineered hundreds of recording sessions, produced dozens of records, and booked numerous tours and shows. Alex will receive his MS in Economic Theory and Policy from the Levy Institute at Bard College under the guidance of Jan Kregel.
