Jesús G. Reséndiz-Silva

Jesús G. Reséndiz-Silva is a Research Scholar at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity. Dr Reséndiz-Silva is a Mexican economist who earned his Ph.D. at the University of East Anglia, in the United Kingdom. His current research aims to develop monetary and economic sovereignty in developing countries through mission-oriented industrial policies that generate innovative, sustainable, and inclusive growth. His research agenda focuses on fiscal and monetary policies that are informed by  Modern Monetary Theory. He is interested in the impact of the independent fiscal councils on developed and developing countries. He has served as an economic advisor at Congress and to key politicians in Mexico. Dr. Reséndiz-Silva loves, reading, jogging and traveling.
