Lihua Chen

Lihua Chen is a Research Scholar at the Institute for Sustainable Prosperity and Associate Professor of Statistics at James Madison University. She received her Ph.D. in statistics from Iowa State University. Her research interests include model selection, model combining, Bayesian methods, capture-recapture methods and Information Theory. She has published refereed articles in statistics, epidemiology, biology and social sciences. Lihua teaches probability and mathematical statistics, statistical decision theory, categorical data analysis, applied linear regression and other courses at James Madison University.
