Mabrouka M’barek is a Research Fellow at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity. She was an elected member of the Tunisian National Constituent Assembly from 2011 to 2014. Her efforts focused on including provisions of food, resources, and economic sovereignty in Tunisia’s new constitution, which she helped draft. Mabrouka is the editor of Cities of Dignity: Urban Transformations Around the World (July 2020), a book written by movement-based authors and the Global Working Group Beyond Development in which she participates.
