Sandy Brian Hager is a Research Scholar at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity and a Lecturer in International Political Economy at City, University of London. He was also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He received his PhD in 2013 from York University and worked previously as a Fellow in International Political Economy at the London School of Economics. His research deals broadly with issues of inequality and corporate power in global finance. He is the author of Public Debt, Inequality, and Power: The Making of a Modern Debt State (University of California Press, 2016).
