Tanweer Ali

Tanweer Ali is a Research Fellow at the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity and a lecturer with Empire State College, State University of New York. He is based with the college’s program in Prague, Czech Republic and also works with the program in Lebanon. Tanweer teaches courses in finance, economics, social enterprise and sustainability. His research interests include full employment, corporate governance and the influence of language on economic discourse. Prior to entering academia he worked in investment banking and consulting. Tanweer has served on the boards of a number of NGOs working primarily in the fields of human rights and gender equality. Tanweer holds a Master of Arts degree in mathematics from the University of Oxford as well as the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and FRM (Financial Risk Manager) qualifications. He is a Research Associate with the Foreign Policy Centre in London.
