Timothy P. Sharpe

Timothy P. Sharpe is a Research Scholar at the Institute for Sustainable Prosperity and Lecturer of Economics at Nottingham Trent University where he teaches (current) macroeconomic issues, theories and policies. Tim’s research is on contemporary macroeconomic policy debates vis-à-vis the conduct of fiscal and monetary policy among advanced economies. More specifically, his research focuses on deficit and debt dynamics, macroeconomic issues and policies of the Eurozone, Central Bank mechanics, and full employment policies. Tim has published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Post Keynesian Economics, Review of Political Economy and the International Review of Applied Economics. He holds a B.Com, B.Ec(Hons) and PhD in economics from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
