Usha Pradhan is a Research Assistant at the Institute for Sustainable Prosperity. She holds a M.A in Economics from the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) and is currently pursuing her PhD in Economics at UMKC with Social Science Consortium as her co-discipline. Her research interests include Monetary Theory and Policy, Political Economy, Sustainable Economic Development, Environmental Economics, Peace Economics, and Energy Economics. Her undergraduate studies was in Computer Science. She currently serves as the Vice-President of the UMKC Economics Club.
